    Lynn received his B.F.A. from the University of Utah. He was influenced by the work of Corot and Inness as well as Mondrian and Kline. His exhibits include shows at the Salt Lake Art Center, the Union Gallery and Sylvester's Gallery. He has participated in the Park City and St. George Arts festivals and the Renaissance Fair. He has exhibited at the Crossroads gallery in Jackson Hole Wyoming, Myers Gallery at Park City, Sai Sommet at Dear Valley, Four Seasons at Sun Valley Idaho, Kimball Art center at Park city and donated works at the Cosgriff art auction. Lynn has participated in many shows where he has received numerous awards from honorable mention to best of show. His work has been purchased by many and is represented in private collections.

American Dreams: Selected Works from Brigham Young University Museum of ArtPermanent Collection of American Art - “American Dreams: Selected Works from the Museum's Permanent Collection of American Art” examines artworks created by 18th-, 19th- and 20th-century American artists as ideas or visions of America . This expanded exhibition of the Museum's permanent American art collection is presented on both levels of the Museum and includes prints, sculpture, photography, and painting. American Dreams is divided into three thematic sections — “The Dream of Eden,” “American Aspirations” and “Envisioning America.” Showing thru 2012.
